#16: Three from Wild Goose and a Complement to Guinness E-mail

How often are dark beers enjoyed in the heat of summer? Not often. For certain, they are not the obvious choice when reaching into the cooler on a hot afternoon. But for Wild Goose’s Porter and Oatmeal Stout, an exception should be made—they are that good. And if the temperature is simply unbearable, Wild Goose’s India Pale Ale is a fine thirst quencher (it is a tasty IPA, too).

Smithwick’s, a Guinness-brewed beer, is also mentioned. “Half and halfs” anybody?
